how to compost

to safely compost your bamboo toothbrush:

Remember to remove the bristles from your Evergreen Brush before composting. The handle is 100% biodegradable and compostable. 
option 1:
to remove bristles: use a pair of pliers + carefully pull the bristles from the brush. 
option 2:
snap the head off of the toothbrush, compost the handle. 
option 3:
Terracycle offers a variety of recycling programs where toothbrushes and bristles can be sent to them at no cost to you (just fill up your box, print the shipping label off their website and send away!). Here, plastic components are broken down and melted into hard plastic to be repurposed safely.
